providing enjoyment for their friends and family: they restored a 1920’s-era farmhouse
located just east of the Bryan City Limits. Under the loving and discriminating eye of
Mary Ritchey, great detail was devoted to maintaining a peaceful country setting as
modern conveniences were added. Doc and Mary enjoyed standing on the spacious open
deck overlooking the six-acre lake and admiring their handiwork—the arched bridges, the
white board fence—and they determined that they had produced the ideal country
entertainment place. And entertain they did!
Now available, The Ritchey Ranch is ready for your private functions. Doc and Mary's son, George, and George's wife, Kay, now operate The Ritchey Ranch. Conveniently
located, this tranquil facility and working cattle ranch is perfect for meetings, parties,
retreats, and picnics. So whether it be a company meeting in undisturbed surroundings, a
group picnic complete with fishing, or any event that calls for a country atmosphere, The
